Simple way to scan from local scanners to a terminal server.
By default, remote scanning is not available on terminal servers. TSScan is an application in your IT infrastructure for document archiving and editing.
No driver installation is required on the server. It only requires installing TSScan Server on the Terminal Server and TSScan Client on the workstations using Remote Desktop.
After installing the TSScan program, simply insert the document into the scanner and select the scanning program on the server. The local scanner will be visible in it.
Fully TWAIN standard compliant for scanner mapping to remote desktop, terminal services, VDI, or Citrix servers.
Seamless Remote Desktop Scanning TSScan allows you to use scanners attached to your local workstation on the terminal server, just as if you were working locally. The seamless mapping of scanner drivers enables scanning directly from scanners connected to any remote desktop server and any network you use. |

Standalone Scanning Application In addition to the TWAIN mapping feature provided by TSScan, you also have the option to use it as a standalone application with a graphical user interface (GUI). There is no need to install other scanning applications from different providers; TSScan includes all the necessary functionality. |
|
Scan to TIFF, JPEG and BMP Use the graphical user interface (GUI) of the TSScan application to scan documents from a local scanner to the terminal server. You can save in popular image formats such as JPEG or BMP, and also scan directly into PDF documents. Save time and resources by avoiding the need for other external scanning solutions. |

Fast and Secure TSScan uses Microsoft Virtual Channel technology. With VCT, TSScan can operate on any network, as long as a connection can be made via RDP. TSScan encrypts and compresses all communication transmitted over the virtual channel. This method not only speeds up image transfer but also provides secure scanning solutions, as all data is strongly encrypted. |
|
High Image Quality The default compression settings in TSScan provide an optimal solution. They ensure both fast data transfer from a local scanner to the terminal server and high quality of the resulting images. Additionally, there is the option to adjust the internal parameters of TSScan for even faster transfers or improved image quality. |
|
Ideal for Healthcare Providers TSScan enables scanning all patient documents to the central terminal server, facilitating easy and secure access to this data for other staff members. After each scan, the scanned document or image is encrypted and transmitted to the terminal server. There is no loss of image quality, ensuring that even important medical charts, scans, and documents retain all pertinent information. |

ScanSnap compatibility TSScan is not limited to TWAIN devices. Through TSScan, you can use your ScanSnap in RDP, Citrix, or PCoIP sessions. You will be able to select it just like any other locally installed TWAIN-compatible scanner. The application running on the remote host will see it as available without the need for installing additional drivers or configuring the server. |
